ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking Subject Matter Expert- Cryptology to support our Naval Information Warfighting Development Center in Norfolk, VA.
ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking a dynamic self-starter with exceptional abilities to work independently responsible for organizing, manning, training, equipping, and certifying (MTE&C) IW forces. This responsibility includes assessing and identifying readiness and supporting the MTE requirements for all (afloat, airborne and ashore) Naval IW capabilities such as: Netops Operations (NETOPS), Cyber Mission Forces (CMF); Cryptology warfare (CW): Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC), Intelligence (INTEL), Space and Operations Security (OPSEC). The individual/individuals shall ensure the sum of personnel assigned to this effort have expertise in the following area:
1. Cryptology (CRY)
The Contractor shall:
Assist in the development of an Information Warfare readiness view(s) that capture historical and current readiness metrics for all applicable resource areas for afloat and shore based IW forces and units;
Provide Pre and Post IW event (exercise/simulation/conference/symposium, etc.) briefing support;
Assist and support NAVIFOR efforts to integrate and coordinate U.S. Navy surface/submarine /aviation Cryptologic Warfare Direct Support Elements (CDSEs) and Direct Support Officer (DSO);
Assist in development, execution, maintenance and evaluation of the CDSE program;
Develop/support the development of the IW future state (‘to-be’) to include MT&E plans and requirements;
Conduct IW TYCOM-directed assessments for the purpose of focusing attention on IW MTE resources for maximum impact, providing visibility into future readiness requirements, and identifying areas for improvements that support IW current readiness analysis within, METOC, NETOPS, CYBER and CRY capability and product lines.
Support the TYCOM in the development and delivery of routine and non-routine reports and briefings that pertain to Cyber readiness, including but not limited to the list of briefings below:
TYCOM Readiness Command Update (CUB) briefs
Force Generation Brief (FgB)
CMF Working Group events
Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) monthly brief
Requirements :
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in specific IW operations and execution of the specific capabilities listed in the PWS in support of afloat and operational shore commands. Those citing uniformed military experience must have served at the paygrade of E-7 or higher.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and seven years of experience. In lieu of education, Fifteen or more years of information Warfare-related in the Department of Defense or other federal agency may be substituted.
Certifications: None
Security Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) clearance required.
Other: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office/data automation tools is required.
