The Commercial Banking (CB) Client Insights and Commercial Lending Product Management (CIPM) Analytics & Modeling team delivers robust client and product insights accounting for the totality of a clients engagements with Wells Fargo. Our Market, Clients, and Sales Analytics (MCS) team requires a dedicated individual contributor who is able to navigate the complex CB data environment and can provide accurate, timely client analytics. The position requires a talent with both broad institutional knowledge as well as an understanding of how products offered in CB are represented in our dataset and in our go-to-market strategies. A successful candidate will be capable of contributing independently while developing our next generation of talent in North America and abroad.
In this role, you will:
Create and/or facilitate the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or advanced data visualization
Develop customized reports, ad-hoc analyses, visualization dashboards, data management and other complex analytical methodologies
Work with business partners to promote buy-in of tools, methodologies, and models developed
Recommend potential data sources; compile and mine data from multiple, cross business source
Work with senior consultants or directly with partners, responsible for identifying and defining business requirements and translating business needs into complex analyses and recommendations
Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies
Ensure high quality deliverables within SLAs with partners
Develop executive packages to translate strategies into measuring key customer growth indicators into KPIs informing growth strategies by product, segment, industry
Apply knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/services/portfolios to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective Required Qualifications:
7 years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Experience in SQL, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau
Understand our go-to-market approach for all credit product partner businesses, including product fitment for each of these line of business
Direct experience with asset based lending businesses
In-depth knowledge of Market / Specialized Coverages structure, go-to-market strategies, and credit offerings
Proficiency in evaluating profitability for products, clients, and for suggesting strategies to deepen and acquire beneficial relationships
Capability to aggregate large analyses into digestible summaries for executive consumption
Experience managing and leading team members remotely, including the development and retention of junior talent into the next generation of leaders
Ability to navigate Wells Fargos complex data environment and bring together large datasets into single analyses
