Maintenance

Overview and Requirements:

Must pass a physical exam and drug screening prior to employment.

– Repairs: Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, and heating systems, as well as appliances, fixtures, and water heaters
– Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and janitorial duties, such as cleaning and repairing units, and preparing them for new residents
– Landscaping: Maintain landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, planting, and snow removal
– Painting: Prepare surfaces for painting, and paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
– Inventory: Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools, including vehicles
– Safety: Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
– Records: Keep records of time, materials, and maintenance and repair work
– Emergency service: Provide after-hours and weekend emergency coverage
