Job Description

Span Alaska is a distribution center in Auburn that transports a variety of products (ATVs, Gas, Food, Beverage) to Alaska throughout the year. They are looking for Warehouse candidates with at least 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to read bills of lading, and transport materials to the correct trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Must be open to some heavy lifting up to 75 lbs for their heaviest materials, such as carpets, which will be team-lifted. Pay starts at $22 depending on experience, with the potential for higher pay for candidates with the right skills.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in AUBURN, Washington.

Work Environment

The warehouse is extremely clean and organized, featuring a live loading dock area and a secondary loading dock area for reserve materials. New hires will start in the secondary loading dock area with a lead for one month to learn the processes before moving to the live loading dock area. There are about 30-40 forklifts in the building, and employees move at a fast pace picking orders, so safety and awareness are paramount.
