As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities HVAC/R equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Supervising a team, youll ensure adherence to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech Compensation:
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors.
An additional bonus available for this role is available and will be disclosed during the interview process (not included above).

The essential functions of the Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech:
Maintain and repair Walmart facilitys HVAC/R equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart HVAC/R safety policy and environmental guidelines.
Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech Position Requirements:
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 6 months experience, OR 2 years total work experience, in commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
Type I and Type II EPA
Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
Valid Drivers License
Can lift up to 75 lbs.
Can Move up and down ladders frequently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00-$51.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications…

Option 1: 10 years experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
Universal EPA Certification.

Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2-year associates of applied science A/C and refrigeration., Excellent driving record., Prior work experience with Glycol and C02 systems.
