Schedule: 3:00pm – 11:30pm regular. (pm with OT)
Current Shift hours based upon 8 hour shift. We are on 10 hours working days now but may change. Expect to work Saturday’s for 8 hours. It may not be every Saturday, but will be given 48 hours notice
SUMMARY
Packaging Associate is part of the Packaging Department Team that helps produce the finished product of packed parts while adhering to all facility rules and regulations, including safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and compare numbers on work orders to make sure correct parts are being packed.
Inspect for damages to ensure customers are receiving quality parts.
Operate equipment such as computers, tape guns, automatic tape machines, poly baggers, foam & oiler machines to fulfill daily demands.
Pack replacement parts according to the work order stat. Bag/box, packing material and labels.
Ensure correct quantity of parts are being produced.
Ensure work orders are complete and correctly filled out.
Fill out RTS forms for any parts that need returned to stock.
Correctly palletize finished product from line to proper skid
Maintain daily production sheets to ensure attainment of daily productivity goals.
Execute daily 5S activities to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the principles of Team Ship
Escalate any issues that impact our operation to the Team Lead
Support EMS activities by completing additional tasks assigned to you by your Team Lead
Perform all work, tasks, projects, or duties assigned to you by your Team Lead and/or Supervisor in a timely manner and with an acceptable level of quality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or training. Job requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
Must be able and available to work from 5AM to 12AM (depending on assigned shift), including weekends/over time
Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated
Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision
Must be able to demonstrate strong abilities when utilizing a computer
Must wear applicable PPE at all times
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to routinely lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
Must be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
Must be able to handle repetitive movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting of packages/totes/materials.
Must be able to manually move packages from one place to another. Whether it be from equipment to conveyor, from pack table to pallet, or from one side of the business to another.
Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet (8-10 hours)
Pay Details: $18.05 to $19.65 per hour
