Assembler

Adecco is assisting a local client in the SWANNANOA area with Assembler openings. All are Temp-to-Hire opportunities. These roles are to start immediately!

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30a-5pm. (Off on Fridays!!)

Starting Salary : $16.00hr.

Great Environment with a very relaxed workflow; quiet and climate controlled warehouse. Able to assemble while sitting or standing.

Off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Job Duties:

Read specification assembly drawings and bills of material from a work order.

Recognize cosmetic and functional discrepancies on component and cable assemblies

Assemble cable connectors and fiber cable according to work instructions

Promotes service excellence and quality

Provides excellent service to customers; builds strong relationships and team cohesiveness; focuses on quality and positive solutions; communicates respectfully; demonstrates compassion and understanding in response to customer request/needs

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs

Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

Demonstrate manual dexterity, use small hand tools, screwdrivers, and allen wrenches

Must have eye and hand coordination for detailed ability to recognize mechanical fit problems

Ability to read, understand and communicate work instructions and process procedures

Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Ability to organize, complete tasks and manage time

Pays close attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately and recognize and help resolve problems

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and must be reasonably ambulatory.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
