Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the organizations data strategy aligning it with business objectives and technological capabilities
Develop multi-year roadmap and target operating models
Produce technical design documents architecture artifacts and documentation
Perform product evaluations of various vendor products and create scoring criteria
Perform proof of concepts of products as needed
Oversee the development and maintenance of data warehouses data lakes and marts and the transition to new data platforms or – systems
Evaluate and select appropriate data management tools technologies and platforms
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement and lead initiatives to leverage new data capabilities for customers
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics to continuously improve organizations data architecture and management
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data team in data architecture and management
Required Skills
Experience (15 years) in Data architecture engineering strategy and platform management .
Should have worked on Data Warehouse and Database technologies for at least 15 years.
Knowledge of cloud platforms primarily GCP (Google Cloud) .
Experience in building large scale batch and data pipelines with data processing frameworks in AWS or Google cloud platform and their data services .
Expertise in Data Lake architecture Data Modernization Data Mesh ETL and Data Integration tools and technologies .
Expertise in creating high quality documentation – customer presentations for Strategy Roadmaps Design documentation .
Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or TOGAF (The open group architecture framework)
Cloud Certifications are a plus
