Overview

Tanaq Government Services (TGS) provides facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to Federal customers. Services provided include complete building maintenance and operations on large complex individual buildings as well as multiple buildings on large campus type environments including military installations. TGS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.

About the Role

We are seeking a Modular Furniture Installer (Material Handling Laborer) to specialize in the delivery, layout, assembly/disassembly, installation, and reconfiguration of modular furniture. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the role involves performing physical tasks to transport and store materials or merchandise, such as manually unloading delivery trucks, unpacking items, and shelving or placing them in proper storage locations. Goods may be transported using hand trucks, appliance dollies, or pallet jacks.

This is a fully onsite position at a military base in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

Assembly, disassembly, and installation of modular furniture.

Pack items for storage, distribution, or disposal.

Compile inventory stock records of items in the warehouse.

Verify receipts of items on requisition or invoice.

Assist other warehouse personnel in moving, transporting, and relocating materials to the job site.

Comply with warehouse safety requirements.

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

Minimal experience in modular furniture assembly/disassembly.

Experience with Haworth systems preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to move and store furniture and case goods.

Be mechanically inclined.

An understanding of stock management terminology.

Speak, read, and write English fluently.

Able to obtain military base access credentials.

Valid State of Florida drivers license.

US citizen

High School diploma or GED
