Works within the customer environment as part of a customer/contractor team performing as a principal engineering contributor to multiple discipline recapitalization and engineering projects.
Participate as part of a two-person CD&D team responsible for updating and creating new electrical diagrams of the customer’s facilities within both CONUS and OCONUS.
Coordinates with PMs and customers to meet project schedules and requirements.
Incumbent will work with field engineers and customers to ensure diagram accuracy and drawing package completion/close out.
Required Qualifications:
Maintain an active TS/SCI with poly level clearance required.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Proficiency with Visio drafting software.
Understanding of technical/engineering design/drawing principles.
Familiarity with electrical diagrams, panel boards, rack elevations, IP WAN Network Map, signal flow, and floor plans.
Ability to create or update electrical diagrams, panel boards, rack elevations, IP WAN Network Map, signal flow, and floor plans diagrams using VISIO and AUTOCAD.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Desired:
Familiarity with Customer OCONUS and CONUS facilities, security practices, processes and procedures.
Familiarity with Department of State Overseas Building Operations office requirements and procedures.
Familiarity with Customers Project Management process (PMF).
Working knowledge of Customers communication applications for reporting to and from CONUS to OCONUS.
