Technical Support Engineer Installer

Amentum

Amentum/Delta Bridge requires casual CONUS Technical Engineering resources to provide survey, installation, and configuration assistance for a Wireless Intrusion Detection System at classified customer locations CONUS, to include, but not limited to, the Washington Metro Area. Work will be on a casual basis, as the installation schedule is fluid, with 3-4 weeks of work every 2-3 months. At times, work will be more frequent with several months of nearly continuous work available. Schedules will be arranged in the weeks prior to actual installations.

Responsibilities

Engineers will be responsible for antenna/bracket assembly, installation above drop-ceilings, pulling and terminating ethernet cables, and potentially transporting equipment between buildings.

Executing tasks in accordance with all applicable Amentum safety standards.

Performs work in an environment that has a mix of business hours, and after-business hours, depending on customer building availability.

Required:

Prior experience with current installation procedures, including potential conduit bending and installation is preferred.

This work will require climbing step-ladders up to approximately 10 feet.

Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15lbs of equipment

A minimum of one to two years experience.

Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

Great interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must an active TS/SCI level clearance.
