Key Responsibilities • Act as the focal engineering lead on UK Transmission projects. • Support the development of transmission services to meet client needs. • Deliver engineering projects by creating detailed scopes and estimates, performing engineering calculations, developing detailed plan and profile design drawings, and modeling using highly specialized software: PLS-CADD. • Design structures for high voltage transmission lines using PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER. • Design foundations for transmission structures using MFAD, HFAD, or LPILE. • Engineer transmission line projects from the definition phase through the implementation phase to the in service phase for up to 500 kV transmission lines and substation connections. • Provide construction support and overall project engineering coordination, including managing outages. • Prepare staged design reviews for clients in accordance with standards and maintain detailed documentation of designs. Coordinate staged installation and commissioning with the utility and subcontractors. • Perform field reviews and respond to information requests from the site during construction. • Ensure completion of project documentation, including as-builts, calculations, and return of data to the client. • Maintain and enhance relationships with internal groups, external contractors, and clients. • Travel and visit project sites during project definition and execution.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Orlando, Florida and some days remote.

Work Environment

Able to work out of Orlando but will likely start remotely.
