RN PDP needed to supplement infusion staffing
Per Diem – Day shift
Identifies patient problems, initiates nursing directions, provides direct/indirect nursing intervention, and maintains appropriate patients clinical records.
Reports pertinent observations and nursing actions to Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Notifies physician, in a timely manner, of any pertinent physical or emotional findings and documents appropriately. Evaluates and documents the patient s response to nursing and medical intervention in accordance with Policy and Procedure. Maintains constant awareness of potential safety hazards to patients, assuring necessary safety precautions are implemented. Reassesses patient according to unit-specific policy and procedures; makes changes as necessary; and documents appropriate information in patient s chart. Anticipates and responds to changes in patient s condition, based on knowledge of disease process.
Job Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
Experience & Skills:
At least one (2) years of Infusion experience.
Licensure/Certification:
FL RN license
BLS from AHA
ACLS
