Accessory Vehicle Installer

Are you passionate about cars and automotive accessories? Do you have experience installing aftermarket parts and enhancing vehicles? We are seeking skilled Accessory Vehicle Installers to join our team. As an installer, you’ll play a crucial role in customizing and upgrading vehicles for our valued customers. Will assist with the up-fit of emergency vehicles, including those used by city, police, EMS, and fire departments.
Job Description
Assist with vehicle breakdown, including removing bumper skirt, fender, seats, interior trim, headlights, taillights, and fog lights.
Assist with the installation of basic components such as push bumper, vehicle partition cage, rear ABS seat, lock box, window bars, etc.
Assist with the re-assembly of vehicle components.
Mount basic light heads onto the body of a vehicle.
Install interior light heads in the front windshield and rear window of vehicles.
Mount Lightbar to the roof of a vehicle.
Use a crimper and stripper and butt splice connectors to make proper wiring connections.
Understand 12 volts and set patterns on remote light heads.
Must be able to get underneath the cars and lift up to 50 lbs.
Overview:
Auto body shop environment – no A/C but open bay doors and fans to help with heat. (non-climate controlled)
Pay: $18-$20/hr (based on skills/interview)

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position – benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract
Qualifications:
Experience working in non-climate controlled environments (outdoors, manufacturing, or shop)
Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to read tape measure
Experience with wiring and installation on audio or lighting equipment
Experience reading blueprints or schematics is preferred
Previous automotive interest/experience
Mechanical or electrical knowledge
