Administration: Safety Manager. OSHA reporting and records. Environmental (ADEM) testing, reporting and records. Interviewing and hiring. Purchasing safety requirements. Purchase and distribution of company apparel. Training video acquisition and management.
Operational: Safety Manager. Ordering and monitoring of construction signs. Monitor and manage traffic control implementation. Have a working knowledge of managing traffic control procedures and employees. Hire and implement training of new employees Recording and reporting job-site work hours. Accident investigation of vehicles and personnel. Mailbox resets. Scoring (rumble strips). Utility awareness and management (Call to get utilities marked, monitor work around the area).

This is a “hands on” position that requires a learning knowledge of these aspects under the close tutelage of the current managers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to handle routine situations as well as effectively handling unexpected problems and schedule changes.
