Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler I (Paint 3rd). The hourly rate for this position is $17.94 plus 5% shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
HOURS: 10PM – 6AM

What you’ll do:
Retrieve parts from storage locations, using a forklift as necessary.
Set hook arrangements, hang parts in the proper configuration, visually check parts for quality issues, packing equipment, and assure hooks are properly stored when not in and other items as required
Verify counts and Kanban cards to assure accuracy.
Perform de-burring and de-greasing operations.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5s in the area
Maintain guarding and safety equipment in good working order.
Position Criteria:
Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton’s Quality standards and systems
Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE
Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed.
Work with various groups of employees in a team-based environment, cross train on load and unload. Train new employees.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Cleveland, TN area (50 miles) will be considered for this position
Must be able to obtain a forklift license
Must not be on a written or final written warning (Internal only)
Employees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months service time in their current role before moving to the new role (Internal only)
