Summary

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter provides recruitment and onboarding support for our Ooltewah, TN, facility. This position utilizesworking knowledge of the business to provide HR guidance and workforce support to Supervision and Management, analyzes trends, and collaborates with Human Resources Leadership to develop and establish workforce plans with a focus on resolving and positively impacting business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

– – Manages the core processes that support and drive the initiatives of talent acquisition.
– Oversight of high-volume and corporate-based recruiting.
– Advises and aides in the creation of an environment that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent.
– Communicates new HR initiatives, programs, policies and practices relating to talent acquisition.
– Works closely with HR Leaders, Management, and Plant Floor Supervision to monitor employee headcount, turnover, and other metrics for internal and external reporting purposes.
– Facilitates short and long-term talent requirements.
– Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting applicants for vacant positions.
– Fosters an inclusive hiring environment by promoting awareness of diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
– Posts jobs, attends career fairs, and administers the corporate internship program.
– Utilizes resources to maximize recruiting efforts through different advertising and marketing platforms.
– Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting follow local laws/regulations.
– Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs in a timely manner.
– Ensures proper job description management, including necessary updates.
– Prepares reports related to affirmative action progress and recruitment outcomes to management and regulatory bodies.
– Committed to continuous learning in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and staying updated on industry best practices and legal requirements.
– Promotes safety in the workplace.
– Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. – – Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources; or 3-5 years of human resources experience; or equivalent combination of edu ation and experience.
– 3-5 years of high-volume recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred).
– Proficiency utilizing HRIS and knowledge of best practices as related to talent acquisition.
– Ability to work independently and with a group.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
– Proven commitment to adhering to governmental regulations within the workplace.
– Demonstrated high-level competencies regarding management, judgment, and decision-making skills.
– Ability to challenge leadership on situations relating to talent acquisition best practices, culture, engagement, and other people matters.
– Proven ability to build solid, trusting, and credible relationships.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– HR Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
