Director of Global Quality

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provide overall guidance and leadership across all
aspects of quality globally. Drive continuous improvement toward
defect-free processes ensuring customer satisfaction and the achievement
of business results. Responsible for the assessment and improvement of
the people capabilities, processes, and tools that are critical to the
product development process. Develop and lead strategic quality
improvement goals and objectives across the organization. Lead and
coordinate the use of a common continuous improvement project selection
and priority setting process. Develop, lead, track, and measure the
continuous improvement progress and its impact on business results. Lead
functional teams and cross-business teams to drive improvements
impacting key measures of the business. Develop direction on quality
assessments and audits focused on processes critical to customer and
business success. Drive implementation and management of quality
management systems across the organization. Lead the assessment of team
members capabilities and skills; plan development opportunities to
meet the needs of both the individual and the business. Organize
post-implementation exercises to identify strengths and opportunities
for improvement. Champion strategic customer improvement projects and
communication on key metrics. Up to 25% domestic and international
travel required. 100% Telecommuting permitted. This position requires a
Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field,
plus 10 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing occupation.
Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1)
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; 2) Managing budgets including
significant capital projects; 3) Managing plant quality and quality
