Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
The Quality Technician will split their time equally between the plant floor and a lab setting.
Key responsibilities include performing inspections such as Pre-Operative and Food Safety, documenting and communicating results, and ensuring compliance with GMP and USDA requirements.
The role involves conducting ATP swab tests, calibrating lab equipment, and performing organic start-up tests.
Additionally, the Quality Technician will review HACCP records, perform quality audits, manage laboratory and production supplies, liaise with the USDA, and report food safety and quality concerns.
Other duties include line coverage checks, distributing weekly code date sheets, and following all food safety PPE/GMP requirements.
