JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University Altoona College invites applications for a Teaching Faculty appointment to a non-tenure track position in Mechanical Engineering, beginning in Fall 2024 or when agreed upon. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in support of the Mechanical Engineering program, advise and mentor undergraduate students,participate in all aspects of the programs activities, and serve the profession. The position will be filled at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Teaching Professor, or Professor of Practice depending on education and experience. The position is for a one-year appointment with excellent possibility of renewal.

Candidates must have a graduate degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field by the time of the appointment start date.
