About the Role

The Business Intelligence (BI) Systems Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of BI solutions within the organization. Your expertise lies in managing the technical aspects of BI systems, data integration, maintaining security, leading unit, system, and user acceptance testing efforts, and supporting end-users

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the configuration and maintenance of the OneStream platform, including workflows, data sources, transformation rules, business rules, calculations, dashboards, data management sequences, and cube/master data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OneStream with other financial systems (such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)) and ensure seamless data flow.

Intimately knowledgeable about the IT infrastructure and data architecture where solution reside.

Ensure that the BI layer operates smoothly on the underlying IT infrastructure.

Connect solution to data sources and establish security protocols.

Maintain and monitor systems to ensure seamless performance.

Lead Unit Testing, System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, patches, and upgrades.

Collaborate with end-users to validate system functionality, identify, and resolve system issues.

Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows.

Create and build OneStream applications, cubes, dimensions, and calculation scripts using VB.NET or C# and SQL.

Understand cumulative translation adjustment (CTA) calculations and their impact on financial statements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study. Master’s degree preferred.

3 years of experience as an OneStream administrator or HFM integration

3 years of architectural design and implementation experience in a Data Warehousing & Business Analytics environment (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Marts, BI, including development and implementation, data analysis, and report writing)

3 years of experience with specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

Deep knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK Functional Framework (e.g., data architecture management, etc.)

Hands-on experience with SSAS and SSIS is desired

Understanding CTA calculations and their impact on financial statements

SOX Compliance experience

Hands-on experience with HFM integration

Advanced knowledge of SQL and programing languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 – $130,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
