Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative
Location: Lexington, KY (onsite)
Work Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
Classification: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire
The Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative will cover the Kentucky and Ohio area, strategically promoting company products to key manufacturers and suppliers. Responsibilities include cultivating sales and relationships within all key business accounts in the assigned areas. This includes visiting customers to promote and advise on the appropriate products for their facility. The ideal candidate should be bilingual in Japanese and English, with business-level proficiency in both languages, including reading and writing.
Responsibilities:
Conduct customer visits to promote industrial products and cultivate relationships.
Record daily sales activities in Salesforce, working towards meeting or surpassing designated sales targets.
Utilize ERP system to process data and generate quote.
Identify and establish customer, analyzing trends and recognizing business opportunities.
Act as a project manager, defining scope, selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
Offer support to the Inside Sales Team by addressing customer-related issues.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Maintenance Departments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bilingual of Japanese and English – speaking/reading/writing required.
B2B customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Proficient with MS Office
Ability to travel up to 20%
Must have a valid drivers license
