OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a team
working on challenging, innovative facility design projects within our High
Performance Facilities Business Unit in the metro Greenwood Village, CO,
Huntsville, AL, Tulsa, OK, Atlanta, GA, San Antonio, TX or Space
Coast, FL loca
Typical annual pay range for this position is $125,000.00 –
$160,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge,
skills, and experience. Once Trained, a hybrid schedule may be supported.
WHAT YOULL DO
Responsible for maintaining client satisfaction and profitability for
architecture and engineering design projects; primary area of work is with
military and government clients with construction budgets up to $50 million.
Meets with clients to prepare and/or validate proposed scope of work.
Prepares fee proposals for full-service design work. Once the proposal is
accepted, establishes documents and electronic media files for internal
accounting and storage of technical data. Establishes project design budget
and schedule. Routinely meets with individual design disciplines to ensure an
understanding of the scope of work and schedule requirements. Ensures internal
communication and coordination of design efforts occurs and schedules are met.
Works with design technical leads to ensure projects are adequately staffed.
Has responsibility to update resource requests. Prepares all external
communication and invoices. Reviews design documents for conformance to
company standards and compliance with clients scope of work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive knowledge in working with federal government organizations, such
as the US Air Force, Air Force Center Engineering Center, NAVFAC,
NASA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Intelligence Community, and
Installation level contracting organizations.
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited institution
in Engineering or a Masters degree of Architecture from an accredited
institution.
Professional licensure (PE/RA) is strongly desired.
LEED Accreditation and PMP is desired.
Ten (10) years of combined experience in designing and managing medium to
large sized multi-discipline facility projects.
Position requires proficiency with facility design Military and Government
full-service projects.
Must be proficient in managing clients, project management for A-E firms,
managing to fee and demonstrate skills to lead multi-discipline teams.
Candidates must have proficiency with MS Office.
Experience managing full-service design projects in Revit BIM across multiple
offices is preferred.
The client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship, no dual
citizenship.
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility based on investigation
current within the last four years. Polygraph (CI or Full Scope) current
within 5 years is desired.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional licensure (PE/RA) is strongly desired.
