JOB SUMMARY: The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of hospitality services within Indium Corporation. This role involves managing day-to-day guest services, coordinating events, overseeing facilities, and providing a warm, welcoming experience for all visitors and clients. The Hospitality Coordinator must have a passion for customer service, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Guest Relations:
o Serve as the main point of contact for all guest inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively
o Manage all guest requests, ensuring all details are accurate and communicated
• Event Coordination:
o Assist in planning and executing events, including meetings, conferences, and special events o Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure all event logistics are handled smoothly
o Coordinate meals as needed for events
o Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition
• Facilities Management:
o Monitor the cleanliness and organization of public areas and meeting rooms at Indium Corporation Headquarters building
o Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address any facility-related issues
o Manage inventory of hospitality supplies and order new stock as needed
• Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records of event details
o Prepare reports on hospitality services, including guest feedback and event outcomes
o Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for hospitality-related activities
• Customer Service Excellence:
o Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience and improve service delivery
o Train and supervise hospitality staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality service
o Develop and implement hospitality standards and procedures
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in a hospitality, event coordination, or customer service role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality management software (e.g., Opera, EventPro)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with guests and staff
• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
