IT SME support is requested for the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G3’s Army Trojan Management Office (ATMO)-Army Trojan Watch (ATW). The ATW gathers mission requirements, identifies, and determines Trojan issues and provides analytical and sustainable solutions to meet the warfighter’s need.

The mission of the ATW is to provide staff and management coordination of issues for NexGen, SPIRIT, and SPIRIT LITE systems, and other configurations that are enabled by Trojan terminals. The ATW Analyst must be able to identify and transpose requirements into executable instructions for various technical teams, complete milestones, maintain project/task level documentation, monitor project/task timelines to ensure deadlines are met. The ATW Analyst must maintain clear and concise communication with resources/personnel across a matrixed organization. The individual will also perform strategic tasks based on information gathered on day-to-day operations aimed at improving processes associated with achieving the desired outcome. The individual will need to collaborate closely with the Headquarters/Unit staff elements, Actions officers, and assigned Project Managers as well as other staff personnel to complete and accomplished the assigned task.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Principle Analyst will act as liaison with the responsibility to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, facilitates communications, and coordinates activities among G3 other INSCOM stakeholders. The analyst is a G3 ATMO representative that streamlines operational support and handles communications, coordination efforts, and incident response, and conflict resolution. The Analyst is primarily responsible for deriving G3 Trojan requirements. The Principle Analyst will perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environments, and must be willing to take initiative to proactively solve conflicts and address issues. Principle Analyst duties include the following:

Gather G3 ATMO Trojan requirements derived from engagements with stakeholders.

Assignment as the G3 ATMO in multiple Trojan Operation Planning Teams (OPTs), Working Groups, and other recurring meetings.

Coordinate Trojan project/task meetings with stakeholders as needed (Unit/Field personnel, assigned region PM, Engineering personnel, Supply Chain, incl Logistics).

Trojan project/task milestone tracking. Ex: engineering, approvals, supply chain, field installation.

Act as an action officer for derived requirements.

Analyze the disposition the specific issues or root cause of project/task delays.

Facilitates meetings and cooperation among people, directorates, and organizations.

Identifies problems in communications among these groups.

Conduct after action when an incident is wrapped up.

Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications.

Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures.

Draft, write and edit reports, briefs, correspondence, and other documents.

Something to the effect of utilizing IT systems and databases to research, track and manage issues. (I am thinking MAAS Impact, TDNB, WAG, REMEDY, JIRE…)

Potential travel also (up to 10%, just in case)

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT related field and/or combination of experience and education.

• Baseline certification: DoD 8570 IAT II certification, Security Experience

• 10 years’ experience supporting DoD enterprise infrastructures

• Extensive experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

• Experience with developing reports, and providing updates to colleagues and stakeholders

• Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables

• A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• Ensure and provide effective customer service• Prepare and deliver verbal communications, receive and respond to phone calls and attend face-to-face meetings.• Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills• Ability to put documents into the proper format• Possession of excellent spelling and grammar skills• Create and manage tickets in designated ticketing system

WORK HOURS

Core Hours:

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday – Friday

10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday – Friday

SECURITY

Must possess at minimum a TS/SCI Clearance. It is preferred that candidate possess a TS/SCI with a CI Poly security clearance. Personnel must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a final TS/SCI security clearance. Additionally, all personnel will require access to NATO classified material and will require read on to NATO.
