Pharmacist

Actalent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Prescription Review/Data Quality Reviews: Checking prescriptions going in and out of the pharmacy. Verifying all data and ensuring clinical, quality, and drug utilization reviews are correct.

Ensuring Accuracy: Confirming the appropriate medication, dose, strength, directions, quantity, safety, and patient information are correct.

Prescription Management: Checking incoming and outgoing prescriptions.

Communication: Handling inbound/outbound calls from doctor’s offices or provider offices with questions about prescriptions. Making outbound calls to pharmacies or members.

Patient/Family Education: Providing education on medication over the phone.

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Pensacola, Florida.

Work Environment: Mail order pharmacy, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-Noon. The role involves standing for 8 hours a shift and moving around.
