This is a Job Description for a Senior Aircraft Technician — Electrical back shops in Columbus, Mississippi

Summary: On the eastern border of Mississippi youll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. Its here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Duties & Responsibilities: Instruct and mentor less experience technicians in tasks. Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components. Troubleshoot and rework discrepancies and faults. Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc… Soldering of connectors, contacts and components.

 Completing forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.

Requirements

: Minimum of six (6) years of aircraft electrical experience in aviation. Current FCC license is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
