What Talent Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Talent Management is responsible for processes, programs and tools in the disciplines of employee engagement, organization design, talent assessment, competency identification, performance management, leadership and high-potential development, career development, succession planning, team effectiveness and coaching. Responsibilities

This role co-owns and project manages the Talent & Succession Planning processes and provides Talent Management client support to several Global Medical Product Distribution (GMPD) and Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solution (P&SS) segment business units. This role provides Talent Management thought leadership globally. Responsibilities include:

Execute the design of Talent Management programs and processes

Serve as a project manager for all Talent & Succession Planning processes

Manage timeline and communication plans of Talent Planning activities

Create process training for HR Business Partners and directly to people leaders across the enterprise to build capability throughout the organization

Owns HRIS/Workday partnership for Talent & Succession Planning related items

Own People Analytics & Intelligence partnership for talent metrics and dashboards. Focus on Enhancing talent insights and recommendations

Support enterprise talent discussions:

Maintain Critical Talent scorecard

Create Board of Directors materials

Create EC/OC Talent Council materials

Thought-partner with VP HR Business Partners and the business leaders they support within client groups

Serve as a Talent Management liaison for client group- connecting all of the in-scope work of Talent Management (i.e. employee engagement, leader effectiveness, assessment tools, leadership development programs, performance management, talent planning, talent strategies and philosophies, etc.)

Execute talent priorities specific to each client group

Construct and execute optimal onboarding and team effectiveness roadmaps for new corporate function leaders

Drive accountability and clarifying roles for client group’s quarterly talent meeting cadence and talent metrics

Proactively plan for segment talent movement

Build credible succession plans for VP positions

Consult on Charting a Course high potential talent

Responsible for deep knowledge of talent at the VP levels

Facilitate New Leader Acceleration sessions for Senior Vice Presidents

Serve as a 360 coach, StrengthsFinder ambassador and Hogan coach for the enterprise

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

5 years’ experience in Talent Management or an HR Business Partner related role, preferred

Certified StrengthsFinder, 360 and Hogan preferred

Subject matter expertise in Talent processes

Strong project management and implementation abilities

Ability to influence

Change management experience

Demonstrated ability to turn talent theory into action

Ability to interact with Senior level leadership

Develops strong relationships

Strong Business Partner skills

Anticipated salary range: $103,500-$155,295
