CNA – Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a Part Time Patient Care Assistant – PCA to join our clients team in Bloomfield, IN!

Mondays and Fridays 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

$16-$18 per hour (depending on experience)

-Mileage and gas are reimbursed .50 cents per mile.

Requirements

– At least 1 year of patient care experience.

– Active Driver’s License.

– Auto insurance.

– Must be able to clear a background check (background check scans entire record for lifetime).

– TB vaccination or the ability to be vaccinated.

Job Description

– Patient Care Assistants (PCA) will be primarily working with geriatric patients.

– PCA may need to travel with their patient to run errands (prescriptions, doctor’s appointments, etc.) travel is limited to a 10-mile radius from home.

– PCAs will be primarily out in the field, very rarely going to the office.

– Ensure clients receive their medication on time.

– Support clients who can’t move on their own.

– Help clients dress, bathe, eat, etc.

– Assist clients with physical therapy exercises.

– Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions.

– Help customers with their shopping.

– Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.

– Provide emotional support.

– Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events.

– Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
