Job Title: Mechanical Designer-SolidWorks
Job Description
The individual for this position will be responsible for designing filtration systems ranging in price from small systems to $3M using SolidWorks. This role involves drawing averages of 3 to 10 drawings per week, including floor plans, structural tank drawings, structural platforms and mezzanines, and routing plumbing drawings. The candidate will adhere to the department’s programming, drawing standards, and conventions. The ratio of updating standard drawings to starting from scratch is 80/20 (20% start from scratch).

This is a fully on-site position in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
In this department, there are 5 individuals: 3 working specifically on designing filters and 2 Project Engineers who integrate the filters into the system. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate in the office and loud in the shop. Position requires safety glasses and safety shoes when out on the shop floor.
