Class A Flatbed Driver

Job Description

In this position, candidates will drive and deliver steel and rebar. All work will be home every night. Candidates will be working primarily outdoors year-round to unload, load, and move steel and rebar. The two main products that are distributed out of the facility are structural steel and rebar. All rebar is kept in a non-climate controlled area and is cold during the winters. Having experience in working outdoors is a plus!

Daily Responsibilities include:

Driving routes locally to deliver steel

Demonstrating attention to detail through confirming delivery forms and product

Recording logs

Operating industrial forklift to load and unload raw and finished steel product from trucks

Communicating with yard loaders

Performing checks on loaded product to ensure it is secured safely
