We are looking for a Toolroom Coordinator Assistant who would be responsible for tracking installation tools, maintaining tool room, certifying tools, repairing tools, and other duties as required to maintain tool program.

Essential Functions:

– Receive and inspect tools

– Repairs and certifies tools as required

– Schedule and ship tools as required by local installation offices

– Performs scheduled maintenance on tools

– Track and follow up on outstanding/overdue tool usage

– Maintain log or other documentation regarding tooling

Education:

-High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

-1 years of machinist experience

– Experience with 5S and LEAN is a plus.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, & Behaviors:

– Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

– Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, impact wrench, wire cutters, tape measure and other job-related tools.

– Gross motor ability to kneel, crouch, bend, recline, and climb in a variety of maintenance related duties and to drive a forklift.

– English proficiency to perform troubleshooting and verify parts orders via telephone and or email.

– Communication skills necessary to interact with employees, management, and outside contractors.

– Software skills necessary to understand and operate email system and tool tracking software.
