This job is a member of the Flight Team within the Integrated Operations Division.

This position will be responsible for providing clerical support for the Flight Communications team.

What youll do

Produce and update collateral for new hire pilot orientation (registration materials and process, handouts, presentations, base packets)

Shared responsibility in prep work and instruction before, during and after new hire pilot orientation

Books travel to orientation for new hire pilots

Researches, creates and ships plaques for new Captains

Updates retired pilot information on AAPilots

Sends operational and non-operational messages to pilots via Crew Check-in and aa.com email

Assists with maintaining and updating AAPilots website

Inventories and orders operational and office supplies via Coupa

Maintains detailed data files in Excel and updates Sharepoint

Ability to interact professionally in a service-culture environment while assisting pilots and managers with operational, administrative and personnel matters

All youll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalency

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Minimum typing skill of 25 to 49 W.P.M.

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Proficiency in RES and DECS
