Pressed Roots is the first silk blow-out bar specializing in textured hair. Combining certified textured hair expertise, nurturing care for hair health and true luxury hospitality touches, we aim to break down the barriers that have held those with texture back from feeling their best. In our hands, a simple blow-out becomes an affordable mini-luxury that not only makes our clients feel uniquely beautiful, but will forever change the standards of the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

Perform flawless silk blowouts on all types of textured hair

Educate clients on the art of textured hair care

Sell add-on services, retail products, and our VIP memberships

Provide a luxury, customer experience through client interactions – we also serve mimosas and other beverages!

Maintain studio cleanliness

Requirements

A current and valid Texas cosmetology license

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Amazing styling and finishing techniques

A strong work ethic with a “go-getter” attitude

Experience with the round brush technique is a plus!

Must work a committed weekday PM shift and weekend shift
