Systems Engineer

Job Description

This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team providing critical feedback for the entire weapon system s requirements verification activities. This position will assess and review systems engineering products developed by the Prime contractor in order to ensure compliance to U.S. Government (USG) standards for the Sentinel weapon system. It also entails evaluating vendor and Prime testing methodologies and digital architecture. Each Weapon System Specification (WSS) requirement must be verified through test, analysis, demonstration, or examination, and this position will ensure that each method will satisfy requirements. This position will operate in an organizational culture that develops and challenges employees to achieve high performance in a fast-paced, high-morale workplace using streamlined management policies and procedures. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

B.S. in STEM with 3 years or Masters with 2 years of experience in systems engineering or analysis of military hardware and software systems and processes

Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools

Familiar with Requirements Verification Matrix methodologies

Proactive person with a positive attitude and a team player mentality

Highly organized with acute attention to detail

Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills

Proactively provides ideas/thoughts

Values brainstorming and changing the status quo

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Prior experience with DoD weapons systems

Specific ICBM weapon system experience

Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Experience with testing and verifying requirements

An active DoD security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 – $128340

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
