On-site Service Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Pay: $21-$24.50/hr (based on experience)
Join a leading semiconductor service company as an On-site Service Engineer! In this role, youll be providing essential product support, technical know-how, and maintenance services for advanced equipment at customer sites. Youll play a key role in troubleshooting, installations, and ensuring high safety standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering excellent potential for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Use electromechanical skills to provide exceptional service to customers.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot vacuum pumps, gas, abatement, and chemical delivery systems.
Ensure a zero-hazard environment by actively participating in site safety programs.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Interpret and work with detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Utilize various test meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
Follow all site fab and subfab protocols with precision.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred (military equivalent may substitute).
1-3 years of experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., electronics, mechanical, gas, chemical, refrigeration, vacuum systems).
Positive attitude, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
Competency in reading engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
Clean driving record and ability to pass a physical capability assessment.
Fluent in English, with clear speaking and listening abilities.
Shift Flexibility:
Must be open to working shifts as assigned based on company needs.
