Enterprise Systems Consulting (ESC) helps businesses select and implement a comprehensive portfolio of software tools—known as an enterprise system—to solve operational and financial needs. The Workday Adaptive Planning Manager will execute as part of a team to implement, support, and use Adaptive Insights in helping clients improve their financial reporting, planning and forecasting processes. As part of this team, the position will work with a wide variety of projects and roles.

Responsibilities:

Leads working sessions with client teams to outline their business operations, define goals and objectives for their planning cycles, and document key segments and metrics that will enable them to enhance their financial planning and analysis function

Develops, configures, and maintains accurate forecasting and planning models to meet client needs

Participates in the implementation, configuration, testing, support, customization, and optimization of our clients’ financial reporting, forecasting and planning system Workday Adaptive Planning

Implements and coordinates organizational/tree/outline maintenance that impacts reporting

Guides implementation of process and report automation using systems capabilities Implements process and report automation using systems capabilities

Conducts and contributes to client financial forecasting and planning projects and recommends business process improvement efforts

Participates in process improvement projects, such as identifying and implementing reporting and data efficiencies to reduce client time compiling data

Plans and conducts training sessions for users. Communicates with colleagues and peers regarding new technologies that could affect or benefit clients of the firm

Documents procedures, reports, and operations

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; major in accounting or information systems preferred

Workday Adaptive Planning experience preferred

Minimum of 6 years of corporate financial accounting experience required

Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial planning experience required

Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Able to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change. Able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%
