Advertising at Amazon is a fast-growing business that spans across desktop, mobile, video and connected devices. Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP) enables thousands of advertisers to deliver several billion ad impressions everyday to a network of hundreds of thousands of third party publishers. The 3P Supply Quality group has the charter to deliver high quality ad impressions on the Amazon DSP by providing a wide selection of traffic quality, viewability and brand safety pre-bid targeting and post impression measurement products from trusted 3P vendors.
The 3P Supply Quality team leverages cutting edge open source technologies and the latest AWS services to process billions of ad impressions to deliver high quality customer experience to advertisers on the Amazon DSP. You are expected to be proficient in Big Data technologies and distributed systems to build low latency realtime services and data processing systems handling petabytes of data. As an SDE you will drive how 3P Supply Quality product best integrate across the entire MCA set of services.
A successful candidate will have the satisfaction of seeing their software operate at internet scale, influence the design of key parts of infrastructure, and see how their solutions scale as Amazon’s advertising business continues to grow.

About the team
The Third Party Measurement (3PMR) team is innovating real-time measurement of Amazon Advertising and shaping the emerging technology of data privacy. We work with advertiser-preferred vendors to build a technology that measures their investments in Amazon Advertising, while ensuring user’s privacy. We have ambitious goals to integrate Amazon Advertising systems with more external providers and expand our products across multiple regions world-wide.
Basic Qualifications
– 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
– 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
– Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
