As the Wastewater Operator, you will be responsible to monitor operating conditions while supporting the overall water treatment process as it relates to health, safety, quality, security, environmental, productivity and cost control measures.
Position Related Job Duties and Key Responsibilities
Operate Water Treatment/Reclamation Plant and associated equipment.
Perform weekly sanitation and as needed CIP of all filtration and water systems
Complete routine water treatment system maintenance
Manage routine calibration activities for the water treatment system
Maintain GMP in water treatment area
Maintain cleanliness of processing areas
Conduct process area water checks in accordance with HACCP system.
Maintain trending of key water data and monitor trends for early warning signs
Assist in water awareness and water conservation training for all plant personnel
Basic data entry
Participate in Plant, Quality System and Laboratory projects on an as-needed basis
Initiate and participate on process improvement initiatives throughout plant
Chemical Management Tasks
Maintain chemical inventory
Order chemicals as needed
Receive chemicals and ensure necessary documents are delivered to key stakeholders (MSDS, goods receipt documents, etc.)
Ensure proper chemical storage techniques are being utilized
Maintain GMP in chemical storage areas
Monitor chemical usage trends for early warning signs

Education and Additional Qualifications
High school diploma preferred
Quality assurance, production and maintenance experience preferred, but not required
Water Treatment Certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer experience required (Excel and Word)
