Job Description

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a dynamic, talented Water-Wastewater Engineer, PE – Project Manager for immediate employment to be based out of our Clifton or Piscataway New Jersey offices. The appropriate qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career on water and wastewater projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful group that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Manages water and wastewater projects from planning through design and construction.

Responsibility of the project, including but not limited to financial performance, schedule, staffing, execution, and contract closeout.

Provides guidance to and mentors subordinate staff.

Ensure company project policies are followed.

Participation in water community activities including Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association.

Leads business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and managing project deliveries.

Leads with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams and projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering plus 6 years of related experience.

Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems and client/consultant relations experience

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering plus 10 years of related experience in water/wastewater/water resources consulting and engineering management.

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in New Jersey or capable of obtaining the required license within 9 months of employment.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $135,000.00 – $170,000.00.
