Job Details Our Nursing Supervisors: Visits all Patient Care rounds to assess Patient care requirements and completes the daily supervision communication form. Identifies role to family, Physicians, staff and other departments. Responds in emergency situations including RRTs and codes and ensures that only appropriate clinical staff are present and expedite any needed resources, tests and procedures. In addition, debriefs and analyzes the situation, completes documentation on debrief form and bring forth issues to the code committee. Education: (BSN) required: Masters degree preferred. Current license in NY state as a registered Professional Nurse. National Certification required or obtained within 6 months. Experience: Five(5) years of clinical experience with two ( 2) years of management and supervisory experience required. Critical Care experience Experience as RN manager, supervisor, or charge preferred. Complexity: With in-depth knowledge of hospital procedures: able to handle stressful situations. Requires team management skills and a problem solving attitude. Must be capable of independent judgment and critical analysis related to urgent patient care and clinical issues. Able to ensure smooth operation through day to day management and planning. Maintains a positive attitude with attention to details. Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
