Ordinarily there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions. (NOTE: You must attach copy of your transcripts.) In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Determining the performance reliability of various packaging materials and/or packaging designs under differing conditions of usage through inspections and/or analysis; (2) Conducting studies to achieve and/or implement new or improved processes and/or procedures related to packaging and/or Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS); (3) Conveying and/or communicating the results of inspections, studies, and/or analysis orally, in written reports, and/or in briefings/presentations; (4) Applying innovative solutions to systems, engineering design issues, software, equipment, and/or work practices and techniques; AND (5) Managing and/or executing projects and/or programs.
