Geotechnical Engineering firm seeks entry level technicians.  This position is ideal for high school or associates graduates with strong technical aptitude and/or recent college graduates seeking hands-on experience in geotechnical, civil, or environmental engineering.  On the job training will be provided.  Construction experience is a plus. 

Job Responsibilities: 

– Construction materials testing and verification for soil, concrete, rebar, and more. 
– Prepare daily field documentation with test results and observations. 
– Regularly communicate with project managers and engineers regarding issues which arise onsite.

Working Conditions: 

– Daily travel is required.  Projects are located throughout Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, Berks and Bucks Counties.  Must have reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record.  Mileage reimbursement is provided.
– Must be willing/able to work outdoors in an active construction environment. 
– Must be able to lift/carry 35-50 lbs of equipment and test samples.
