We are seeking a Broadcast Engineer
to support the operation of our ST 2110 IP facility. IT Network Engineers with some broadcast experience may be considered for this role.
JOB HIGHLIGHTS:
– Support an ST 2110 media network running on Arista network switches
– Work with Lawo VSM, SMART, Arista Cloudvision and other tools
– Maintain complex broadcast systems and equipment such as cameras, production switchers, graphics systems, non-linear editing systems, cloud-based systems, intercom, production audio consoles, ENG equipment, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
:
– Hands-on experience working in a television facility
– Experience providing technical support for production video and broadcast operations
– Experience with IP routing and workows
– General understanding of the SMPTE 2110 suite of standards
– Ability to troubleshoot computer and network-based systems
– Ability to read technical drawings and follow signal flows
– Strong analytical, reasoning, and technical troubleshooting skills
– Ability to take direction and work under deadline pressure
– Must be organized, creative, and detail-oriented
– Strong sense of urgency
– Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
NICE TO HAVE:
Bachelors degree, preferred focus in electrical engineering or computer science or related field
Arista or Cisco certification, Arista CloudVision
Experience maintaining a television transmitter
