Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, blood samples, and processing pathology and cytology samples. Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems or directory of services. Complete all data entry requirements accurately, including patient registration, entry of test orders, and billing information. Collect payments when required and safeguard assets and credit card information. Perform data entry and processing of specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required. Perform departmental-related clerical duties such as data entry, inventory, stocking supplies, and answering phones. Verify patient demographic information and initials post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy. Maintain appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, such as maintenance and temperature logs. Complete training courses and stay up-to-date with the latest phlebotomy techniques and company communications.

Work Environment
Lots of travel between Nursing and Assisted living homes. Monday-Friday and some Saturdays if it is close.
