Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee major mechanical upgrades at HCA Hospital in Sun City, FL. This role requires extensive travel with mileage reimbursement and per diem expenses covered. The superintendent will manage projects involving structural reinforcement, demo/duct work, and rooftop handler installations. You will be the only person on site for HBS, ensuring subs do not engage in scope creep.

Hard Skills

OSHA 10

Procore or CM software experience

Mechanical system construction experience ($1-$30 million)

5 years of superintendent experience

Soft Skills

Ability to create schedules and cost-effective plans

Collaboration with staff for preconstruction estimates and budgets

Effective communication with tradespeople, professionals, and laborers

Quality and timeliness inspection

Progress reporting and recommendations for modifications

Collaboration with architects, engineers, attorneys, and stakeholders

Regulatory compliance

Permit and license acquisition

Budget monitoring and variance communication

Record maintenance

Addressing safety violations

Union collaboration
