Job Overview:
As aBartender,you’llbe responsibleforassistingthe F&B Operational Manager / Supervisor with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the community. This includes daily operation of the restaurant and bar, training new employees, to catering andspecial events.
Your Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of house cocktails, specialty drinks, and bar operations
Help servers with alcohol related menuquestions.
Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation,safety,and alcohol beverage controlpolicies.
Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chefs specialties; identifyingappropriate wines; answering food preparationquestions.
Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patronschoices,identifyingpatrons special dietary needs and specialrequests.
Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from servicebars.
Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other specialneeds.
Properly open and pour wine at thetableside.
Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuingbill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip topatrons.
Skills & Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma
At least 1 year kitchen experience
Excellent verbal communication skillsrequired
Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
Work in an upright standing or sitting position forlong periodsoftime.
Reach with hands andarms.
Communicate, receive,and exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and writtenword.

Compensation: $25.00 Hourly
