Job Description:
We are currently seeking skilled field service technicians with a minimum of 5 years plumbing experience working in commercial building; medical facilities a plus. The service technician must have a clear knowledge and understanding of the plumbing and equipment requirements and operations of medical facilities including but not limited to domestic hot water and radiant heating systems. The service technician must be able to coordinate with dispatch, responding to urgent service calls and be able to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot various plumbing issues, perform repairs or replacement of equipment, ice-makers, piping, heaters, boilers, tankless heaters, mixing valves, and pumps (open and closed loop systems).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing various plumbing problems, including repairing and replacing equipment, installing tankless water heaters and changing out boilers.
Ability to keep assigned company van at personal residence.
Flexibility for travel and working overtime/weekends, as required.
Ability to build strong customer relationships through knowledge and understanding of customers needs/expectations and preventative maintenance.
Ability to read, understand and work with blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair systems.
Responsible for maintaining vehicle by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling and completing repairs and maintenance service.
Ability to comprehensibly document and submit electronically, work orders, receipts and additional paperwork to dispatching at the completion of each job.
Requirements:
5 years service experience specific to Medical Facilities a plus.
Will be professional, clean appearance, and honor drug-free workplace.
Must have a valid current drivers license.
Must possess own tools necessary to complete a plumbing diagnosis and repair.
Ability to troubleshoot service issues and construction obstructions.
Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment.
Ability to work independently
