Your job as a Material Handler for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare involves being responsible for the accurate receipt of, the safe and correct storage of, and issuing of raw materials and packaging components, used in the processing and packaging of finished goods​.

This is a 2nd Shift position. Hours: 2:00pm – 10:30pm.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare documentation for all incoming components, unload trailers, verify goods, and maintain proper storage.

Schedule deliveries of inbound freight, load and unload trailers, verify accuracy of deliveries, print bar coded identification labels and apply to containers

Determine storage location and move raw materials, components and finished goods from staging dock to specified locations.

Entering receiving data and location into JD Edwards inventory control system.

Deliver materials and components to manufacturing operations departments, prepare finished goods for transport to warehouse storage, relieve for breaks on the packaging lines as required to ensure continuous production and special projects as assigned.

Must follow all cGMP, FDA and Good Housekeeping policies and procedures.

Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Required Competencies ​

Must have attention to detail

Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time

Must have the ability to operate a forklift and palletizer in a safe manner

Must have a valid Driver’s License

DOL Forklift Certification preferred

MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Lotus notes

About You

Education & Experience: You must have a High School Diploma or GED, along with at least one year of material handling experience.

Forklift Certification and or Licenses Preferred

Working knowledge of Production Automation Systems (i.e. SAP)

Physical Ability: You must be capable of to lift up to 50lbs. by yourself and team lift anything above 50lbs. The ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and demonstrating exceptional coordination, manual dexterity, and mechanical aptitude.

Special Requirements: You are required to comply with dress code regulations, be willing to undergo necessary training, and work in conditions with exposure to product, dust, grease, and packing machinery hazards.

Pre-employment Testing: You need to complete the required pre-employment testing.

Desired Qualifications: Additional qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma Certification, previous pharmaceutical experience, and familiarity with Production Automation Systems like SAP are desirable.
