This is a job for a Breast Trimmer Labor – 2nd Shift position with a company located in the Forest, MS area.
Functions: To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture. Receive training as required. Perform various positions as required/assigned.
Description: This posting is for the Breast Trimmer position in our production lines. This position is scheduled for 2nd Shift. It is a PR02U with a base pay of $15.70 per hour with the possibility of a $1.35 attendance incentive. This is a level up from the regular entry-level positions. This position is responsible for removing whole breast fillets from a moving conveyer and to remove bones and gristle from product at a rate of 20 pieces per minute. Job consists of pulling skin and checking for bones on the breast of the fillets by hand, as well as trimming the breast with scissors.
Requirements: Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) This position work in a cold, damp or humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility accepts rehires after one year (365 days) from last day worked but does not accept candidates who have worked for Tyson three (3) or more times. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
